Emily E. Hensley, APRN

Emily has worked in the healthcare field for over two decades including work as an ICU nurse, flight nurse, and ER nurse. Emily has been practicing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2013. In January of 2020, she took a leap of faith and opened her own private practice; New Hope Psychiatry. Emily graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in 2001 and her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2013 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her current clinical expertise includes psychiatric care for patients of all ages, including children and adolescents, as well as psychotherapy and evaluation of serious mental health conditions. In this role, Emily is licensed to provide complete medication management for the treatment of mental health symptoms.
