Q. HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
A. Referral from your primary care provider is helpful but not required. If you have concerns regarding your mental health and question the need for medication management, you are welcome to call and establish an appointment. If you are referred to New Hope Psychiatry by another provider, it is helpful that you identify this upon scheduling.
Q. What ARE our business hours?
A. New Hope’s ancillary business staff hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm for appointment scheduling, questions about billing, and or medication questions. The providers work schedule will be a rotating 4-day work week schedule. Monday thru Thursday and/or Tuesday thru Friday. Any questions please call the office @ (308) 237-0391 during business hours.
Q. What questions are asked in the initial evaluation and how long does it take?
A. Please plan for 45-60 minutes in order to complete the initial evaluation. Questions asked vary greatly and consist of basic social and medical history to exploring symptom presentation.
Q. how often are follow up appointments scheduled?
A. Frequency of follow up appointments varies greatly and is often dependent upon medications prescribed, severity of presenting symptoms, and success of medication efficacy. It is important to monitor a patient’s progress in treatment throughout the course of care and with your input, your provider will determine how often appointments should occur.
Q. What is the treated age range?
A. As young as age 4 up to any age of an adult.
